Thin films of meso-octaethylporphyrinogen were deposited on the Ag surface by Langmuir-Blodgett technique. Such coatings were tested in the mol. recognition of alc. vapors by using Surface Plasmon Resonance (SPR) technique. Different selectivity and rate of response for different alc. mols. were found.
