Abstract
A single crystal Ni-based superalloy was welded by employing a capacitor discharge welding (CDW) machine, the material microstructure was widely observed by means of optical and scanning electron microscopy, in order to characterize the effect of processing parameters on the joints quality. After welding, the joined samples were tested in tension, at room and high temperature, up to failure in order to measure the strength of the material after joining operations.File in questo prodotto:
