In 2006-2007 two excavation areas were carried out at the site of Tell Tuqan (Syria); the aim, in the inner sector of the site was to reach the Middle Bronze layers on the acropolis and get a better understanding of the nature of the Iron Age settlement. Furthermore, the ensemble of the gatherted data enriches our knowledge of particular aspects of the town's life during the II m illennium B.C.

Abstract
