The behaviour of reinforced concrete beams reinforced with externally bonded fiber reinforced composite materials is analysed in the paper. Two different bonding techniques are considered in the analysis: the traditional FRP system in which unidirectional carbon fibres sheets are bonded to the concrete by resins, generally epoxy resin, and the Fibre-Reinforced Cementitious Matrix (FRCM) system in which an overlay of carbon fiber meshs embedded into an inorganic stabilized cementitious matrix is bonded to the concrete. An experimental investigation is made to evaluate the influence of the bonding technique on the structural performances of beams both at the ultimate and at the serviceability conditions. Obtained results are presented and discussed.

Abstract
Obtained results are presented and discussed.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
