Abstract
This analysis of the external dimension of the economic and monetary policy of the European Union shows that the EU and the Euro area still do not speak with a single voice in the international fora even if the Euro is, in fact, the second leading global currency. A number of reasons explain the missing voice of the Euro. Legal, technical and political obstacles are explored with reference to the International Monetary Fund and the G20. The position of the European Central Bank is object of special consideration.File in questo prodotto:
