Recent discoveries at Roca (Lecce) show a great technological improvement of metallurgy during the Recent and Final Bronze Age. In regard to the bronzework, meaningful evidence is provided by several stone moulds, used to produce weapons and tools of various shapes. Some knives and hammers seem to reproduce Aegean artefacts. It is also worth noting the discovery of a terracotta tuyère.
