The dissipation and dispersion properties of a family of unstructured high order upwind schemes are investigated in view of their application to the numerical simulation of compressible turbulent flows using hybrid RANS/LES modelling. A numerical limiter is introduced to reduce numerical dissipation in flow regions dominated by turbulent structures.
