El ensayo explora algunas de las consonancias que se manifiestan entre las obras de Iris Murdoch y de María Zambrano, evidenciando las conexiones que se pueden atribuir a la compartida influencia weiliana, así como sus respectivas distancias de la filósofa francesa. El análisis se centra en particular en la crítica compartida al individualismo político y filosófico, para evidenciar como ésta desemboque, en cada autora, en un diferente uso y en diferentes acepciones de la categoría de persona. The paper aims at exploring some of the close correspondences between the work of Iris Murdoch and María Zambrano, and at revealing both the connections and divergences which can be interpreted against the background of the common influence of Weil on their respective work. In particular, the article focuses on the critique to the philosophical and political individualism wich is shared by the three philosophers, and shows how it triggers in each of them a different use and meaning of the category of person.
