Digital technologies are creating unprecedented opportunities for individuals and organizations aiming to create new forms of economic and social value. In particular, the multi-sided platform (MSP) is growing in importance as an innovative archetype in the sharing economy scenario. However, although successful cases of MSP can be found in business and industry-based scenarios, the application of the platform model to support social conversation and resolution of wicked social challenges is underdeveloped. We employ the lenses of collective intelligence to derive a conceptual MSP techno-organizational framework to support the resolution of sustainable development issues. Based on an interdisciplinary literature exploration and a design science approach, the article presents a four-dimension framework of MSP for sustainable development, and an illustrative case study focused on the climate change problem. The study provides a new perspective on MSP as an emerging management paradigm to build collaboratively effective solutions to enhanced social development.

Abstract
The study provides a new perspective on MSP as an emerging management paradigm to build collaboratively effective solutions to enhanced social development.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
