In 2019, in the framework of the Soknopaiou Nesos Project (University of the Salento, Lecce, Italy), two research teams began a multidisciplinary survey at the site of Dimeh es-Seba. One team conducted a 3D survey of the site while the other carried out a pottery survey in order to obtain knowledge of the spatial and chronological development of the settlement. The joint survey aims to create a Topographical Atlas which will support the acquisition of evidence for addressing specific archaeological problems concerning the settlement. The project will also contribute to the protection, conservation and monitoring of the site.
