The paper deals with the cultural and human relations between the Greek-speaking people of Southern Apulia (Italy) and the Greeks. It focuses on the translations of works by Greek writers into Italian made by Italians born in the Grecìa Salentina (the Greek-speaking munici- palities of Apulia) and in particular on the translations from Georgios Drossinis’s works.
