Between 1250 and 1350 a large cultural movement, dominated by the figure and the works of Albert the Great, grew up in Germany around the Cologne Studium Generale. Not only important philosophers such as Ulrich of Strasbourg, Dietrich of Freiberg, Meister Eckhart and Berthold of Moosbourg who followed Albert the Great, but also minor, lesser-known figures like John Picardi of Lichtenberg and Henry of Lübeck. Henry of Lubeck’s Quodlibeta are the first example of this literary genre in Germany. These three Quodlibeta are the only known works in this genre so far in Germany. This paper intends to give some biographical data on Henry of Lübeck and then go on to analyse the structure of Henry’s second Quodlibet, which was the object of the author’s critical edition.

Abstract
This paper intends to give some biographical data on Henry of Lübeck and then go on to analyse the structure of Henry’s second Quodlibet, which was the object of the author’s critical edition.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
