Through a careful examination of the recent book Arti e lettere a Napoli tra Cinque e Seicento: studi su Matteo di Capua principe di Conca, edited by Andrea Zezza (Officina Libraria, Rome 2021), the essay adds some reflections and unpublished elements on the social, artistic and cultural environment frequented by the nobleman. Some hypotheses are thus advanced on the Caiazzo’s di Capua residence, on the artists preferred by Matteo (including Giovanni Balducci, whose catalog it is proposed to connect a Saint Lucia), on some pieces of his extraordinary collection. New data, held into five bank policies transcribed in the final Appendix, are linked to this collection; they are relating to frames and furniture in ebony and ivory, carriages and fabrics, medals and engravings.

Abstract
New data, held into five bank policies transcribed in the final Appendix, are linked to this collection; they are relating to frames and furniture in ebony and ivory, carriages and fabrics, medals and engravings.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
