This work analyzes the language of the Italian song on Facebook and Instagram in opposition to the covid-19 emergency. It focuses on the freestyles of the most famous rappers, who posted using the hashtags #covidfreestyle, #covid19, #iorestoacasa. Challenges on Instagram and Facebook materialized through live streams or 'stories'. The survey examines three key characteristics of the selected works: expression, purpose, user reaction. The first element probes the ways, forms, styles, and theming of song excerpts chosen by the authors as the launch of the publication. The second focuses on the objectives and intentions of the cultural product. The third develops a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the listener's feedback.
