Placidia Stefanini. Feminista, periodista y Escritora en la Italia de principios del siglo XX

El estudio explora la trayectoria biográfica, literaria y política inédita de Placidia Stefanini (1892-1919), profesora, escritora y periodista que colaboró y fue corresponsal de numerosos periódicos socialistas, así como autora de una biografía poco conocida de la escritora francesa Aurore Dupin. Sin embargo, su historia permaneció “marcada por el silencio” durante mucho tiempo. Fuentes fragmentarias, huellas dispersas y referencias esporádicas en ensayos y volúmenes han oscurecido la vida humana y profesional de esta intelectual. Sin embargo, ha sido posible restituir los contornos de una existencia intensa, aunque breve, transcurrida entre la militancia política en las filas de las juventudes socialistas italianas y el compromiso con la causa feminista. This paper aims to explore the unpublished biographical, literary and political profile of Placidia Stefanini (1892-1919). Stefanini was a teacher, writer and journalist active in women's associations, collaborator and correspondent for many socialist newspapers and author of a little-known biography of the French writer Aurore Dupin. Her profile, however, was ‘marked by silence’. The scarcity of comprehensive sources, the sporadic nature of existing traces and the scant references in essays and volumes have obscured the human and professional history of this intellectual.
