The chapter presents a linguistic analysis of proceedings of judicial cases filed in Italy and which reached at least the second level of judgment, with special regard to texts produced by lawyers. Documents of this kind allow us to profitably observe the textual interweaving of a procedural level and the relationship of the individual actors and texts to each other in the verticality of multiple proceedings relating to the same case and to study first-hand materials relevant to the relationships and exchanges between the lawyer’s writing and the judge’s writing, i.e. between defence texts and jurisprudential texts.

Abstract
The chapter presents a linguistic analysis of proceedings of judicial cases filed in Italy and which reached at least the second level of judgment, with special regard to texts produced by lawyers. Documents of this kind allow us to profitably observe the textual interweaving of a procedural level and the relationship of the individual actors and texts to each other in the verticality of multiple proceedings relating to the same case and to study first-hand materials relevant to the relationships and exchanges between the lawyer’s writing and the judge’s writing, i.e. between defence texts and jurisprudential texts.File in questo prodotto:
